NFL Week 15 Odds Rundown: Betting Lines and Analysis

Week 14 was rough on several teams in terms of injuries. While New Orleans and Pittsburgh escaped the worst as star running backs Alvin Kamara and Le’Veon Bell appear to be fine, the Philadelphia Eagles got the worst news as MVP candidate Carson Wentz is out for the season. That’s changed the entire landscape as we enter Week 15:

Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs
Odds: Kansas City -2

The Chargers have won four in a row and seven of their last nine to climb into a tie with Kansas City for top spot in the NFC West. The Chiefs won the opening meeting between these teams back in Week 3 but a lot has changed since then. The Chiefs looked unstoppable then and the Chargers couldn’t get out of their own way. Now the opposite seems true, although the Chiefs are coming off a momentum-changing win in Oakland. We’ll find out if it was a one-week aberration or whether Andy Reid has fixed the team.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants
Odds: Philadelphia -8

The Eagles suffered a substantial blow with the loss of quarterback Carson Wentz. The bad news is that Wentz is done for the season. The good news is that Philadelphia is 11-2, with a capable backup in veteran Nick Foles set to take over under center. The Giants have all but packed it in for the season and their own calamity should lead to another Eagles win.

Green Bay Packers @ Carolina Panthers
Odds: Carolina -2.5

After Brett Hundley led Green Bay to back-to-back overtime wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns, Aaron Rodgers could return this week. Green Bay will likely need to win out in order to get to the playoffs with a chance to finish 10-6. A win over Carolina this week will be crucial. The Panthers are coming off a 31-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings to improve to 9-4.

New York Jets @ New Orleans Saints
Odds: New Orleans -16

The Saints are coming off a tough 20-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football but still control their own destiny at the top of the NFC South. New Orleans has dropped two of its last three but will close out the season with home games against the Jets and Falcons before visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their season finale.

Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks
Odds: Seattle -1

The Rams and Seahawks are both coming off tough losses in Week 14. Now they are set to meet in Seattle with top spot in the NFC West on the line. The Seahawks won the first meeting between these teams as the Rams’ last-second comeback fell short. Seattle’s defense has lost some key pieces since then, including Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. Russell Wilson has been outstanding all year and could be a dark-horse MVP candidate if he could lead the Seahawks to a division title.

Dallas Cowboys @ Oakland Raiders
Odds: Dallas -3

Dallas picked up a crucial win over the Giants to keep its playoff hopes alive. Now the Cowboys need to run the table in order to have a shot at picking up a wild-card spot in the loaded NFC. Dallas will travel to Oakland this week, hosts the Seahawks in Week 16 and then visits the Eagles to close out the year. The Cowboys will get Ezekiel Elliott back next week, though, so a win in this spot could set them up for a run.
