2019 Poker Masters Schedule Revealed

The next edition of the Purple Jacket chase has been announced. The Poker Masters series tournament will return with Poker Central announcing that the event will take play in early November of this year. The tournament will play a significant role in the year-long high roller points chase, which should see one skilled player secure rake-free entries for a number of different events looking forward to 2020.

The 2019 edition of the Poker Masters will take place in the PokerGO Studio outside of ARIA in Las Vegas from November 4-14. This year’s schedule will look a lot different than the 2018 edition of this tournament, with more of a focus on the games outside of no-limit hold’em. The one thing that will remain the same is the $100,000 Main Event, which will look very similar on paper to last year’s main event.

Keep Memory Alive To Host Second Annual Charity Poker Tournament In September

The Keep Memory Alive organization will host its second Annual Texas Hold’Em Charity Poker Tournament on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Keep Memory Alive Event Center in Las Vegas. Hosted by the casino legend Jack Binion, all of the proceeds raised at the event will be donated to the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The hospital will use the money in its fight against neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and ALS.

The tournament will be open to anybody 21 and over with a $500 initial buy-in. The first-place prize payout has been set at $10,000 with several runner-up prizes including fancy trips, expensive jewelry, and exclusive chef dinners.

With plenty of outstanding prizes and plenty of money being donated to an excellent cause, Keep Memory Alive’s annual poker tournament is one of the can’t miss events on this year’s Poker schedule in Las Vegas.

Ostapchenko Emerges As Biggest Winner In Parx Bix Stax 30 Event

Andrew Ostapchenko has had a good week. He’s the biggest winner at this year’s Parx Big Stax XXX event.

Ostapchenko was the last man standing in a field of 455 entries in the Big Stax 1100, taking home $97,220 in his first recorded live victory. It was also his second-biggest career cash after he won over $200,000 in the 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Ostapchenko took a substantial chip lead into the final table and didn’t look back. While he took home the massive $97K first-place prize, he wasn’t the only big winner as each of the top five finishers in this particular tournament took home upwards of $20,000. Meanwhile, the Greg “Fish” Fishberg emerged as the big winner of the Big Stax 2500, raking in $40,000 to add to his already impressive $1.6 million total in all-time tournament cash earnings.
