    The wild card round of the NFL playoffs went as planned as all four home teams won and covered. As a matter of fact, all four favorites won and covered rather easily. The divisional round will likely be a little more difficult to handicap as we have a number of tight spreads on the board. Typically, home-field advantage and the bye week play a significant role this week but we'll see if rest trumps rhythm this weekend.

    As the calendar flips to 2017, the state of Pennsylvania is making a push to legalize online gambling. This comes on the heels of a movement in 2016 that was stopped in the state's senate. In June 2016, the state's House of Representatives voted in favor of a bill that would expand the current gambling in the state. In the amendment, HB 2150, would be language that would make online poker a legal activity.

    The playoffs get underway this weekend and all four home teams are favored by at least a field goal. In two of the cases, teams with inferior records will host teams that had more wins because they were division winners. One of those cases is the Oakland Raiders, who will also have to overcome some key injuries if they're to win at the Houston Texans. That's where we'll start our preview of the four playoff games this weekend.

    Waiter Wins Big, But Won't Quit Day Job

    Patrick Serda, who works as a waiter in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is coming off a massive win, but don't expect him to become a changed man. He claimed second place at a European Poker Tour event in Prague, taking home over $750,000, but he says he won't quit his job at a local pizza place.
