Unbeaten on the season, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are the biggest favorite on the early Week 9 NFL betting lines at the sportsbooks as they get a visit from the Washington Redskins at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots are coming off a 36-7 trouncing of the division-rival Miami Dolphins last week, covering the 8-point spread at home in that contest. New England has been favored by at least a touchdown in six of its seven games so far this season, going 4-1-2 against the spread heading into Week 9. For Sunday the Patriots are 14-point favorites against the Redskins.

According to the betting trends for this week the Patriots are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games when favored by two TDs or more. However, New England was favored by 14 points at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars back on September 27 and cruised to a 51-17 win in that contest. Washington is just 1-6 SU and ATS in its last seven games after a bye week.

The Cincinnati Bengals are also both unbeaten and a double-digit favorite for this week, as they opened as 10-point chalk at home against the Cleveland Browns for Thursday. The Bengals are 7-0 SU and a stellar 6-0-1 ATS compared to the Browns’ marks of 2-6 SU and 3-4-1 ATS, but Cleveland is 9-1-1 ATS in its last 11 games as an underdog against Cincinnati.

The Denver Broncos, coming off a huge win over the Green Bay Packers, opened as 3-point road favorites against the Indianapolis Colts for Week 9, while the Packers opened as 3-point road favorites against the Carolina Panthers but that line was quickly bet down to just Green Bay -1.5 at some sportsbooks. The Pittsburgh Steelers, with running back Le’Veon Bell on the shelf for the season, are early 4.5-point home favorites against the Oakland Raiders.

For Sunday night the Dallas Cowboys opened as 2.5-point home favorites against the Philadelphia Eagles but that line had flipped to Philly -3 by late Monday night. Monday Night Football for Week 9 has Chicago at San Diego, with the Chargers opening as 3.5-point chalk.

Elsewhere on the board for Week 9 it’s Buffalo as a 3-point home favorite against Miami, Minnesota as a 3-point home favorite against St. Louis, Atlanta as a 4.5-point road favorite against San Francisco, and the Giants as a 2.5-point road favorite against Tampa Bay.
