NFL Betting: Top Five Games On The NFL Schedule For Week 12

Week 11 was filled with blowouts as six of the eight games at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday were decided by 17 points or more. Things didn’t exactly get more competitive in the afternoon or evening as the rest of the games were all decided by seven or more too. Let’s take a look at the best five games for Week 12 in the hopes that we see some closer contests:

Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans

Odds: Texans -3.5

The AFC South is wide open heading into the final six weeks of the season. Indianapolis and Houston are tied for the best record in the division with the Tennessee Titans just one game back and the Jacksonville Jaguars just two games back. Only one of Indianapolis or Houston will be able to pull in to sole possession of first place in this one. If recent history is any indication, the Colts might be the more likely team to win this one as Indy has won four of its last five versus the Texans.

Oakland Raiders @ New York Jets

Odds: Raiders -3

Oakland has climbed back in to the AFC playoff picture with three straight wins. Not only are the Raiders challenging for a Wild Card spot, but they are also right there competing for the best record in the AFC West. Derek Carr continues to perform at a high level but now the Raiders find themselves in a new spot: as a road favorite. A bad as the Jets have looked at times this season, they are still coming off back-to-back wins with a roster that is finally starting to get healthy. Plus, the Raiders are just 2-6 in the Eastern Time Zone dating back to 2017.

Dallas Cowboys @ New England Patriots

Odds: Patriots -6

It certainly wasn’t pretty, but the Patriots found a way to pick up a 17-10 win over the Philadelphia Eagles to improve to 9-1. Now, New England returns home with Eagles fans hoping they can do them a favor and pick up another win over the NFC East rival Cowboys. The Patriots have outscored their opponents by a total of 179 points this season. While the Cowboys are 6-4, they are still 0-3 against opponents that currently have winning records.

Seattle Seahawks @ Philadelphia Eagles

Odds: Eagles -2

Coming off a tough loss to New England, there are plenty of positives that the Eagles can carry over in to this matchup with Seattle. Carson Wentz and company overcame a number of key injuries to hold their own against New England. Now they need a victory over the Seahawks to close the gap on Dallas atop their division.

Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers

Odds: 49ers -3

As if the schedule for Week 12 wasn’t impressive enough already, the NFL has booked a showdown between the top teams in the NFC for Sunday Night Football. Jimmy Garoppolo led San Francisco to a comeback win over the Arizona Cardinals last week to improve to 9-1. Now the 49ers get another opportunity to prove they are the best in the NFC when Aaron Rodgers and company visit Levi’s Stadium. In a game that could potentially determine the top seed in the NFC, all eyes will be on the Packers and 49ers when they clash on Sunday Night Football.
