Casino News Roundup: Foxwoods Resort, BtoBet Partners, Mr Green

The 2017 year is in the books for the casino industry, both online and in the brick-and-mortar facilities. But 2018 has already gotten underway with some big news. We’ll start this week’s roundup with a couple of big partnerships that were announced.

Foxwoods Resort Casino Partners With Authentic Gaming

Foxwoods Resort Casino, North America’s largest and the world’s fifth-largest resort casino, is adding more to its repertoire: a live casino. They’ve partnered with Authentic Gaming to improve their offering. What it means is that players in Europe or around the world can get access to live table games from the land-based casino in the United States via the Malta-based company’s Authentic Roulette product. The action will start with roulette and then the plan is to expand from there.

It’s the first time that an American casino will stream live to players in Europe and around the world. Assuming it’s a success, expect other brands to do the same.

BtoBet Announces Partnership With Spinomenal

BtoBet, a company that is based in Malta and offers sportsbook betting for its players, has announced a new iGaming partnership. They’ll be forming a relationship and working with Spinomenal. Both companies seem to be very happy and excited about this new partnership as Spinomenal is well-known in the industry for providing great games for its players, combining up-to-date graphics with fun and interesting game play to keep players of all levels interested. Spinomenal has more than 85 cross-platform games that are ready to go and this partnership with BtoBet will likely give them the platform to make even more. Meanwhile, BtoBet won the "Rising Star in Sports Betting" award for 2017 from the SBC Awards, which is no small feat in such a competitive market. BtoBet has been in business with the likes of iSoftBet in the past, which allowed them to get a foothold in Latin America and Africa. They finish off the year with this partnership with Spinomenal and it looks like 2018 is going to be a great year for BtoBet; Spinomenal will definitely profit from this as well.

Mr Green Gets Green Light In Denmark

Mr Green, an operator of online casinos, has gotten approval to work in 12 countries but the news of the week is they’ve upped that number to lucky 13. They have been approved to operate in Denmark. Spillemyndigheden, the gaming authority in Denmark that has the power to approve or decline gaming operators, has reviewed Mr Green and is ready to approve their work in the country. Mr Green is based out of Sweden and has a wide array of online casino games catering to all sorts of tastes. It has been around in Denmark since the spring of 2017 when it acquired Dansk Underholding Limited. However, December 28 was the first day that it was allowed to officially launch in Denmark. Players will now be able to get in on the action for their bingo and slots games, along with many others. Mr Green made about $113 million in sales in 2017, which was their 10th year of operation, and they now have over 200 people employed with their company. They have licenses to operate in places like the United Kingdom along with Italy and Malta, and have a sportsbook license to operate in Ireland.

Of note, Mr Green also purchased one of its rivals, Evoke Gaming Limited, in December.
